This VAT Policy outlines the application of Value Added Tax (VAT) to transactions made on Flirrio. It applies to all users of the platform, including Creators, Fans, and Buyers.
Flirrio is required to collect VAT on transactions where applicable, based on the location of the user and the nature of the transaction. VAT will be included in the price where required by local tax laws.
The VAT rate applied to transactions may vary depending on your location and the type of goods or services purchased. Flirrio will apply the appropriate VAT rate based on the user's country of residence, as determined by the applicable tax laws.
Flirrio is registered for VAT in countries where such registration is required by law. Users may be required to provide additional tax information or documentation to ensure compliance with VAT regulations.
Creators are responsible for understanding and complying with local VAT regulations. Creators must ensure their VAT registration is up to date and may be required to report and remit VAT on earnings generated through Flirrio, in accordance with their local tax laws.
For the sale of digital products, VAT will be applied according to the buyer’s location. This may result in different VAT rates for buyers in different regions.
For the sale of physical products, VAT will be applied in accordance with local laws governing sales tax and VAT for tangible goods. Creators are responsible for ensuring the correct VAT is applied to any physical products they sell on the platform.
Flirrio reserves the right to update or change the VAT rates applied to transactions based on changes in tax laws or regulations. Users will be notified of such changes, and new VAT rates will be applied from the date of the update.
For transactions involving VAT, users will receive an invoice that outlines the VAT amount charged. This invoice can be used for tax reporting purposes in the relevant jurisdiction.
Users, including Creators, are responsible for understanding and complying with VAT and tax laws in their jurisdiction. Flirrio is not liable for any taxes, penalties, or fines resulting from a user’s failure to comply with applicable tax laws.
